We introduce Chebyshev measures. We generalize the representation theorem concerning both measures admitting a density function which is a T–system and oriented measures.

Metastability of the Three Dimensional Ising Model on a Torus at Very Low Temperatures
We study the metastability of the stochastic three dimensional Ising model on a finite torus under a small positive magnetic field at very low temperatures.
متن کاملA Lower Bound on the Relative Entropy with Respect to a Symmetric Probability
Let ρ and μ be two probability measures on R which are not the Dirac mass at 0. We denote by H(μ|ρ) the relative entropy of μ with respect to ρ. We prove that, if ρ is symmetric and μ has a finite first moment, then
متن کاملPercolation since Saint-flour
There has been a great deal of interest and activity in percolation theory since the two Saint-Flour courses, [76, 111], of 1984 and 1996 reprinted in this new edition. We present here a summary of progress since the first publications of our lecture notes. The second edition of Percolation, [77], was published in 1999 as a fairly complete, contemporary account of ‘classical’ percolation (but w...
متن کاملA Short Proof of Cramér's Theorem in ℝ
We give a short proof of Cramér’s large deviations theorem based on convex duality. This proof does not resort to the law of large numbers or any other limit theorem. The most fundamental result in probability theory is the law of large numbers for a sequence (Xn)n≥1 of independent and identically distributed real-valued random variables. Define the empirical mean of (Xn)n≥1 by
متن کاملThe travel time in a finite box in supercritical Bernoulli percolation
We consider the standard site percolation model on the three dimensional cubic lattice. Starting solely with the hypothesis that θ(p) > 0, we prove that, for any α > 0, there exists κ > 0 such that, with probability larger than 1− 1/n, every pair of sites inside the box Λ(n) are joined by a path having at most κ(lnn) closed sites.
